The Chrysanthemum- also known as Mum, Florist’s Mum, Cushion Mum, Spoon mum and Football Mum

The Chrysanthemum is also known as Mum, Florist’s Mum, Cushion Mum, Spoon mum and Football Mums depending on the variety. The name Chrysanthemum is Greek for "Golden Flower". A staple in fall floral designs!

In the Far East the common Chrysanthemum has been cultivated for more than 2,000 years and is the imperial emblem of Japan.

Species variations range from Single head stems to Multi-branching, multiple head varieties. Both offered in many shapes and sizes. Most Mum varieties are available in White, yellow, pink, red, lavender, gold and bronze.

Blooms last for 7-14 days. Chrysanthemums are a popular choice for cut flower arrangements. They add harvest color to your autumn & thanksgiving floral designs! Mums are available as a potted plant as well.
