Our question of the week is;

Q. Our office manager's mother passed away yesterday. The staff here at the office will not be able to attend the service, but we have pooled funds to purchase a flower arrangement for the funeral. What would you suggest we send to express our sympathy?

A. Sending a floral tribute is a very appropriate way of expressing sympathy to a family who has experienced the loss of a loved one. Flowers express a feeling of life and beauty and offer much comfort to the family. A Funeral Spray (as pictured above) is a large arrangement designed in floral foam and attached to an easel. It is appropriate to send to a funeral service. Sometimes they are transported to the gravesite. The florist can deliver this spray to the service with an identification card, including the message from your staff. The message card can be signed as a group. For example, "The Offices of XYZ Distributing" or "The Staff of Sunshine Corporate". Ask your local florist for the many options available for your floral tribute.
